About Ashley

I am a certified birth doula through Childbirth International. I became interested in and intrigued by birth when I was pregnant with my first child. I enrolled in HypnoBirthing classes and was fascinated by the birth experience. My goal is to support women during pregnancy, childbirth and in the postpartum period in whatever choices they make. I want women to feel supported in their decisions and to have a positive birthing experience.

I also have a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology & Health Studies. Along with my doula work I work part time as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in my own private practice, Bright Horizons Occupational Therapy as well as casual at the Regina General Hospital. My experience working as an OT at the hospital has given me great experience for working with women giving birth in the hospital.
